Here they are--our information sources for the
latest news and research data from the net. These are
a few of the sources that we consider reliable and factual. However, we assume
no liability for their content and viewpoints, attitude or disposition of the
writers. Some are ( the writers and authors) are pros and some are Ernie Pyle
wannabes with a computer. ( We realize that a very small audience will recognize
the name Ernie Pyle.) Use these to check out what we are saying here on
wesupportthevets as solid and factual or just surf to read their content but be
sure to come back here and check with us from time to time. We are adding
content daily. If you find a mistake in our presentations--let us know
immediately. Want a recrip link? Send us an image ( .gif preferred)

We'll start of with what we consider our top ten. these are not ranked for veteran or political content. For veteran links, see our vetlinks page.
This is a real resource tool that has so much stuff in it that you just need
to
see it and use it once. Beyond the language translator and the directory
this puppy has it all for free!!!!

<<<<<-----NOT A LINK--WE THOUGHT THIS WAS
THE POSTER OF THE YEAR--WE GOTA CREDIT
http://mhking.mu.nu/archives/045932.php CAUSE THAT'S WHERE IT CAME
FROM kOOL!!!

This one is totally outrageous. Ana Marie Cox
proves that the Blog planet does not belong to the guys This is one that you
truly have to read to describe and then it will be difficult. Satire, straight
language--don't let the kids see you watching this one.
what's in rebecca's pocket?
Another Lady that tells it as it comes across her mind. I like her motivation.
Here is one that will take
you to the
front lines of Iraq with a national guardsman on duty there.
"Jason" was written up in TIME MAGAZINE in June 2004 and may be a little busy
with the PR that he probably got so don't be discouraged if the site does not
come up immediately--probably a lot of people just like you --currious to see
the sand pit up front and personal--and it will be on this one.

Another milblogger--this one
is a little convex and interesting to some. Its a Baghdad Blogger that goes by
SALAM PAX
We are a little concerned about our buddy Salam, we have not had a recent post
on there and he talks ablut the (continued) power of Al-Sadir. the archives are
worth treading and I personally think that every poli-sci student should make a
required report on the posting of this site during the Iraqi freedom period.
Bookslut.com Fascinating name for a website but they actually do think a lot over here. you have to read some of the reviews to get their mindset but this is a heavyhitter blog. something must be interesting to a lot of viewers.
As in all these, click on the logo as a link to the site. On this one, pat
the lady on the rump.
This one is a good
example of what happens to a site when Nick denton starts selling ads on it. It
remains worthy of your click-hit-see-n-go when surfing but don't get brainfried
by the ads.
Lost in the maze of Blogs and can't find one that hits your nerve?? Here is a kind of "index" of popular blogs --at ast count I think about 50,000 that has a great theme Kinja divides the . blogs into categories and you select the series you want to view. You can then collect a bunch of these to get a cross section to satisfy your surfing appetite.
I like this
one because it has everything on the front page. ( I get erked when I have to;
1.sign up for a membership or 2. Enter/ submit my release for my stem cells and
body organs in order to get their newsletter in my emailbox.)
If you still
have your nerves and eyballs in a status quo from looking at all the above, here
is another one that indexes the sites but adds a little feature you may
like--your own blog--FREE. simply put, here is what they say on the front page
of this one
Bloglines is the most
comprehensive, integrated service for searching, subscribing, publishing and
sharing news feeds, blogs, and rich Web content. It's free
and easy-to-use. We thought this one was so good, we
joined;
lookie here;
GIVE US A BREAK O'REILLY!!!!
O you will LOVE this one!!. Viewers write
what they think about "MR. O" and his
treatment of vets and others that disagree with him. could not happen to a nicer
guy IOHO.
We like the one that says they don't want him to EVER call their daughter on the
phone LOL! see this at
GIVEUSABREAKORIELLY.BLOGSPOT.COM
That's enough to keep you busy for awhile. We'll be back when we find the next series we are looking for--Sci-Fi and Military veteran type blogs--we may just have to start our own!! (G)
