SAY the word ;Terrorist --Its not that difficult!!!! Email editor@wesupportthevets.com (Major Nidal Malik Hasan US Army) is an Islamic terrorist, a "mole" a "sleeper" and a murderer in a uniform of a United States soldier. Anyone that has a problem with agreeing with the above statement is a part of the problem. Not a part of the solution to safeguarding America, American lives and the future of this nation. Why is it so difficult to see that this is a part of the long term plan of Jihadists and the Islamic radicals? Why is it we have to lose the lives of 13 loyal and patriotic citizens and soldiers for the sake of political correctness? Is it really that important that we would trade the lives of these young soldiers for the image of a political correct society? There are some VERY important questions that need attention and viable answers not bullshit response for the media. At this moment, this very same situation could re-occur on any Army, Navy or Marine post. Why? Because we have people that are more concerned with their next pay level than they are the lives of others. I have a few short questions I would like to pose to the U.S. Army promotion board that, in 2008 elevated this sleeping terrorist to the rank of Major, US Army. First, Whatever happened to the oral promotion board? The board that is supposed to ask in a live conversation before this individuals peers, questions that would disclose his mindset on issues like the war and his views on deployment to a theatre of war where we would be fighting Islamic radicals? He would have had to lie to get around any direct questions that would be asked in that board exam. If he in fact did lie, that alone is grounds for immediate dishonorable discharge. This guy beat to death the very code of conduct ( Universal Code of Military Justice) that is charged with upholding the honor and integrity of our service personnel. Second, Why didn't anyone look at the organizational structure of this command and see a problem with having the very person that any soldier would have to report a possible loyalty problem to? The chain of command had Nidal Hasan at the top of the chain. Example; If one of his fellow officers ( It would NEVER be an enlisted person that would attempt to report an officer's loyalty because of the response and red flags in the person's service jacket from that day on) reported that there was an area here that required a "look-see". Who would this person make that report request to? Right!! Major Nidal Hasan the head of the Psychiatry department. Talk about the fox guarding the hen house. BUT wait!! I'm not an Army guy, I'm Navy ( 43 years) and I don't know how the Army does it but in the Navy we called it an "Admen" inspection. A team--usually from another command came to our base or ship and for weeks on end reviewed procedures, looked at records and talked to personnel . I even had sailors from this team in my shop reviewing how many hours were expended on rebuilding a jet engine. The same went for personnel records reviews and factors such as equal opportunity and risk management. Where were these safeguards? This event and tragedy evidently has not opened the eyes of any administrative department of the armed services committee. This is evident because we see no immediate reaction other than something akin to well, stuff happens. Our CIC evidently is still "considering" a plan to prevent this in the future. He is a player at the base plate standing with his bat but the pitch came past him ,..yesterday . this in part is because he refuses to call this as all America sees it. A Terrorist attack. We also published a letter on this site by Lt. Col. Allan B. West that also expresses most veterans views on this tragedy (Lt. Col West Letter)
